Girls of TV: Cuthbert vs. Cuoco

The finals are officially here. It has been a long journey and during the votes we have experienced some ups and downs in voting, which may have hurt the outcome of a few matchups, but we got two lovely ladies in our finals and one will be crowned the best on tv.

Over the course of a month we have chopped through 40 beautiful women on television. There were many blow outs and winners by a single vote, and a few upsets along the way, but we are finally at the end and here are the two ladies that you have voted to be in the finals.

(1) Elisha Cuthbert


Cuthbert is currently playing Alex on ABC's Happy Endings. Through her journey to the finals she knocked off The Office's Ellie Kemper, Community's Alison Brie, Shameless's Emmy Rossum and Bones's Emily Deschanel.

(1) Kaley Cuoco


Cuoco is currently playing Penny on CBS's The Big Bang Theory. On her way to the finals she beat Fringe's Anna Torv, Harry's Law Brittany Snow, How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders and Gossip Girl's Blake Lively.

Girls of TV: Cuthbert vs. Deschanel

We made it to the semifinals. And, Blake Lively slips in by a single vote knocking out Breakout King's Serinda Swan.

SEMIFINALS
(1) Elisha Cuthbert


Cuthbert secured her spot in the semifinals with a victory over Shameless's Emmy Rossum. Currently starring as Alex on ABC's Happy Endings.

(5) Emily Deschanel


Deschanel was the lowest seed (5) to make it to the semifinals. She lands here with a victory over Yvonne Strahovski from Chuck. Deschanel is currently 'Bones' on Fox's Bones.

Girls of TV: Cuthbert vs. Rossum

With the final vote of the second round, Serinda Swan moves past Kate Aselton and into the quarterfinals.

Elisha Cuthbert landed in the quarterfinals with a win over Community's Alison Brie. Fun Cuthbert Fact: She's Canadian: born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

(3) Emmy Rossum


Emmy Rossum nailed down her place in the quarterfinals with a victory over Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester. Fun Rossum Fact: She is also a singer, releasing her debut album 'Inside Out' in 2007.

Girls of TV: Cuthbert vs. Brie

YES! Double digits in votes. That is what I like to see.

Anyway, another close vote as usual. Blake Lively was able to get by Sarah Chalke by just a single vote. The Gossip Girl survives.

Cuthbert, the first No. 1 seed, had a tough time in her first round matchup, but managed to knockout The Office's Ellie Kemper. Cuthbert is currently playing Alex on ABC's Happy Endings.

(5) Alison Brie

Brie was up against some stiff competition in her first round matchup, her Community co-star, Gillian Jacobs. Brie plays Annie in the hit NBC series.

Girls of TV: Cuthbert vs. Kemper

A lot closer than I thought it would be, but Wilde jumps into the next round with a victory over Paquin.

(1) Elisha Cuthbert


Probably best known for her role as Jack Bauer's daughter, Kim, on 24. Cuthbert has also done some decent movie work with Old School and The Girl Next Door. She returned to her television roots this year on ABC's new comedy, Happy Endings as Alex.

(9) Ellie Kemper


Kemper was a surprise winner in the 'play in' round against Nikita's Maggie Q. Kemper is the new receptionist on The Office, playing Erin Hannon.
